Lower Macungie Township converted to a First Class Township in 2008 and is an exceptionally attractive and strategically positioned community. It is approximately 55 miles northwest of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of New York City. The Township currently encompasses 22.9 square miles and is home to over 31,000 people. It is characterized as a residential suburban community with immediate access
to exceptional educational resources, open space, farmlands, and the Little Lehigh Creek, creating a most attractive living environment for all.
