Did you know that one of America's favorite stuffed animals got its name from a president? On National Teddy Bear Day, join us and discover the story of Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt and how the teddy bear came to be. Through storytelling and a craft, children will learn the true story behind the beloved teddy bear. Feel free to bring a teddy bear and share its story!

This program is intended for those currently enrolled in Grades K-5. Located in the Children's Program Room. Registration is required due to limited space in the room.

Heather, Co-President of World Class Tutoring will be coming in to help teens prep for the SATs! We'll practice using an SAT mock test and you'll get your results immediately. Have any questions? Ask Heather Krey, she will be on site to help and answer any questions. This program is entirely free.

Internet will be provided, but Teens MUST bring their own laptop. Teens must register using a non-school email. Registration required, spots are limited. It is recommended Teens bring their own calculator and pencil. Pencils will be provided for those who forget, but we will not have extra calculators. Water and snacks will be provided.

Join us for our block party just for preschoolers. Children ages 2-6 (and their adult) can enjoy open-ended block play. Join us for the whole session, or play for just a little. Siblings may attend, but please be aware there will be small pieces that are not suitable for very young children. Adults must stay with their child while in the program room. Registration required due to limited space in the room.

We'll use brand new Oil Pastels and experiment with them in art notebooks. All supplies are provided by the library.
