📣Calling All Local Businesses!

We hope this letter finds you well. We are reaching out to invite you to partner with us for a fun and exciting new community fundraiser, Bingo in the Barn!

Bingo Night is a new initiative we are growing into a recurring event that brings together a diverse group of local residents for a fun and engaging evening, our first two were a great time, and continuing that is important to reaching our goals.

To help make this event a success, we are seeking support from local businesses. Specifically, we are asking businesses to consider a $250 sponsorship and/or a donation of a gift card, gift basket, or item to be used as a bingo prize. In appreciation of your support, participating businesses will receive recognition during the event, and donated gift cards will be promoted directly to attendees, providing valuable exposure to potential new customers.

While the Farm Bureau is rooted in agriculture, this event is designed to attract a broad cross-section of our community. We believe partnering with non-ag local businesses creates a win-win: supporting a longstanding local organization while increasing visibility with new potential customers.

We would truly appreciate your consideration and would be happy to answer any questions or discuss how participation could best benefit your business.

Our next BINGO in the Barn is scheduled for the June 30th, with doors opening at 5:30pm and games starting at 6:00pm!

Thank you for supporting our local community, I hope you'll consider helping us make our Bingo Nights a success!

Feel free to comment, DM, call, stop by, or email [email protected] if you and your business are interested in partnering with us!

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ⚠️

California Agricultural Commissioners are responding to a potentially serious invasive pest threat involving grapevines and citrus trees purchased from select Northern California Costco locations between April 21 and May 20.
Counties suspected to have had received shipments with possibly infested plants include: Alameda, Butte, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Marin, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Mateo, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo.

The glassy-winged sharpshooter is a destructive invasive pest that threatens California agriculture, including grapes, citrus, almonds, stone fruit, and more.

Residents who purchased grapevines or citrus trees from Costco locations in affected counties are urged to take immediate action:
• Bag grapevines securely in two garbage bags
• Contact your local County Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures regarding citrus trees
• Do NOT place plants in household trash or compost bins

A complete press release with additional details, and response instructions has been sent out via email.

Protecting California agriculture starts with all of us. 🌱
