Madera County Library Madera County Library strengthens communities by providing a place for everyone to connect, learn, and grow and various programs for all ages.

The Madera County Library was founded on April 18, 1910. Today, it
continues to thrive and grow by offering services beyond core library services. We offer free Wi-Fi at all of our library locations and apps for digital content. Storytime for children ages 0-5 every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. In addition, our California Family History and Research Room is open to the public for research.

The Oakhurst Branch Library is starting a new Baby Circle Time! Designed for those with new babies up to 36 months, this program will include stories, songs, and gentle activities that support early literacy and bonding time.

👶🏻 Baby Circle Time begins Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:30am, but note that circle time will not be held on June 17th and July 8th. Join us in the community room behind the library!

Preschool Storytime at the Oakhurst Branch Library is canceled on May 26th, but will return on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:30am. Preschool Storytime is designed for children ages 3-5. All families with children are welcome.
