City of Madera Business Highlight!

El Epazote Cocina Regional is a family-owned Oaxacan restaurant proudly serving authentic flavors in the City of Madera. For the past 3 years, El Epazote has brought traditional dishes and family recipes from the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca to our community.

Owners Tomás Gonzalez and his brothers were inspired to open the restaurant after years of working in other restaurants and dreaming of building something of their own. Their vision became reality by bringing back their mother’s cooking and sharing the flavors they grew up with. El Epazote is more than a restaurant, it’s a celebration of family, culture, and authentic Oaxacan tradition right here in Madera. Be sure to stop by and support this local business!
