The Madill Fire Department will be teaming up with Kingston Fire department for the 9/11 walk we do every year. This year the walk will be held in Kingston. Everyone is welcome to come be apart of this event 🇺🇸

It’s a time to remember those who gave their lives that day, on one of the worst days in nations history. So please come out and join us on this special day. 🔥🇺🇸

The Madill Fire Department would like to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Bruster family, Janlee Hoppers, Chris Bradshaw, Donna Hartin, Lori hartin and family, Brooke Hickman, Ruben Rivera, Campbell family and the Ayres family for stopping by and bringing snacks and drinks for our firefighters.

Our firefighters have been working incredibly hard over the past month, responding to structure fires and wildfires—especially with the dry, hot weather we’ve been experiencing. Your kindness and support mean more than you know!

The Madill Fire Department is truly grateful to everyone who supports these men and women, especially during times like these. It’s moments like this that really show you what a good community looks like.

Thank you again for thinking of our firefighters and showing your appreciation. We are blessed to serve such a supportive community!

🚒💦 Training Day = Learning + Fun! 💦🚒

Yesterday our firefighters got hands-on with some valuable training—and had a little fun along the way! Even in this heat From water fights to real-world pumping operations, every drill had a purpose.

Our crew practiced drafting water from various water sources, working on pumping operations, and sharpening the skills needed to move water efficiently during an emergency. 💪🚒💧

We also practiced techniques for stopping sprinkler heads from spraying, including using wooden wedges to control the flow when appropriate. These skills can make a big difference when working in a structure with an active sprinkler system.

And yes… there may have been a few water fights along the way! 😎💦 Sometimes the best training is the kind you enjoy while learning.

🚒💦Madill Fire Department had a blast helping kick off the school year by spraying down the high school band with a little extra water after practice! 😂💦

It was all smiles, laughter, and good times as we celebrated together at the Community Back to School Bash. We love getting out, having fun, and supporting our students, families, and community!

Chief Mike Idleman also made some little kids days! 🍦when the ice cream truck came by and he bought the kids some ice cream. Chief is such a good example of what caring for your community is all about.

Here are some statistics on what the blood drive brings over the past years.

The Madill Fire Department and Madill Police Department have been apart of the boots and badges blood drive for 9 year now. We have done a total of 20 blood drives and out of those 20 contributed to saving 1,545 lives. We appreciate everyone who comes to Donate. You guys be sure and come on the 22nd and help Donate!🩸👨‍🚒🔥 be sure when you donate to let them know you are with the fire department.
