Dear FCMA Community Members,
We are excited to invite our families and community to Four Corners Montessori Academy’s Exhibition of Learning! This special evening will showcase authentic project-based learning experiences from Preschool through 8th Grade, where students have been working collaboratively to research, create, problem solve, and present meaningful projects connected to real-world themes and hands-on Montessori learning.
Event Details:
- Date: Wednesday, May 27
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Location: FCMA Classrooms
What to Expect:
- Pre-Primary & Early Elementary students are creating a “Little Free Library Project” focused on literacy, sustainability, community sharing, and practical life skills. Families will see student created books, bookmarks, woodworking projects, and community outreach efforts.
- Lower Elementary students are exploring “Inventions That Changed the World” through research on inventors, simple machines, timelines, hands-on models, and interactive demonstrations inspired by the book Seven Small Inventions That Changed the World.
- Upper Elementary students are focusing on renewable energy and environmental stewardship through projects involving battery recycling, solar energy, and wind energy. Families will experience working models, data displays, and sustainability initiatives led by students.
- Middle School students are becoming environmental advocates, “Guardians of the Garden”, by researching pollinators, native plants, and ecosystem stewardship. Students will share educational materials, seed packets, and action steps families can take to support local pollinators and protect our environment.
Join Us! This evening is designed to celebrate creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and student voice. We hope you will join us in recognizing the incredible work and growth of our students!
We look forward to seeing you there!
