Polson Middle School - Early Dismissal June 12

Due to the high heat and humidity, Polson Middle School will follow an early dismissal schedule on Friday, June 12. Polson students will be dismissed at 12 p.m. All other schools will follow their regular schedules.

Polson is our only remaining school that does not have adequate air conditioning coverage. With a heat index in the 100s, it is very difficult to regulate the building temperature, especially in the afternoon.

We understand that schedule changes can be an inconvenience but we hope the advanced notice gives families time to plan. Polson will receive full AC for the 2026/27 school year so this will hopefully be one of the last times we have to dismiss early due to heat.

The 8th grade dance will take place as scheduled on Friday evening at Daniel Hand High School in air conditioning.

No better way to end the spring concert season than for Polson‘s eighth graders to take the stage. Orchestra, chorus, and band, you are the epitome of talent and class, and we look forward to watching you in the future! Congratulations musical directors Haley Bracken and John Leonard for three fabulous concerts this season!

These students are amazing! Grade 7 orchestra, chorus, and band took the stage Tuesday night and wowed the audience. Great job Kids!
