We had such a great week with friends celebrating Spring and Easter.

As much as we love our members and wish they could stay with us forever, sometimes we do have to say goodbye. It was such a hard week to say goodbye to Ferne but we know she is going to love her new home away from home!!

Coming to our adult day club is never an easy decision and one that comes with guilt and unwillingness at times.

Just imagine if our parents never pushed us to do the things we never wanted to do. As we get older, our roles definitely change from being kids to becoming caregivers to our parents. They need that push just as much now as we did when we were scaried and afraid. Please continue to push the hard conversations and activities that your loved ones need. Our parents/spouses need social interaction, they need mental and physical stimulation, they need to feel purpose again and they need your help even when they say they don’t.

You’re not alone with struggling to make the right decisions for your loved ones. Ensuring they live their best lives is up to us as caregivers for the ones we love. As hard as it is to keep hearing “no”, we gently rethink and reword the things that they need to better their lives.

Please give us a call today If you want your loved ones to stay engaged and active. Our goal is therapy for the mind and body so they can stay independent for as long as possible. We are changing lives everyday, will yours or someone you love be the next?
