We recently celebrated the opening of 36 new homes (12 townhomes & 24 studio apartments) in the Washburn Neighborhood in La Crosse. Led by Three Sixty Real Estate Solutions, these new homes help address La Crosse's housing needs and help our neighbors live and work right here in our beautiful community.

In May, we celebrated Dr. Betsy Morgan, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Provost and Vice Chancellor. Betsy dedicated 33 years to UWL and will retire this summer.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Morgan and thanking her for her many years of service to UW-La Crosse and its students.

It's vital that our farmers and rural communities have the infrastructure needed to transport their products to market.

I was proud to support the state budget, which included $150 million to continue the successful Agricultural Roads Improvement Program (ARIP), improving local roads used by farmers and producers. To date, the program has funded 120 projects across the state.

I love cheese, so there is truly no better place to live than right here in Wisconsin 🧀 As a state, we lead the nation in cheese production with more than THREE billion pounds produced annually, or 25% of the nation's total production.

Happy and thank you to all the hardworking dairy farmers, truck drivers, cheesemakers, local grocers, and consumers of Wisconsin's delicious cheese.

Happy June Dairy Days, and thank you to all of Wisconsin's hardworking farmers!

Our state's license plates read "Wisconsin America's Dairyland." This is much more than a catchy phrase to me. Rather, it is a story of pride, commitment, hard work, and a belief in family and community.

As a proud farm boy myself, I know that farming comes with unique pressures. Too many rural families still face barriers to getting help.

Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but the conversation cannot stop, especially for rural Wisconsinites. As we begin June Dairy Month, let’s remember that Wisconsin farmers who feed communities across the world also need & deserve access to quality mental health care.

Senator Pfaff talked with students about the branches of government, Wisconsin history, and answered many thoughtful questions from our students.
