This school year stretched us in every way possible as we transitioned fully into a PK–8 school, but the hard work of our students, staff, and families continues to pay off.

Honored to receive multiple recognitions for attendance, literacy, and math growth at Amqui K-8 — including a Standard Bearer of Excellence Award. These awards represent a TEAM effort and a school community committed to growth, resilience, and excellence.

Attention Amqui Family!
Since 2015, when my oldest daughter started Kindergarten at Amqui I have served as your PTO president, and now that my youngest daughter is moving on to another school next year, I have to hang up my PTO hat! I have enjoyed organizing spirit nights, fundraisers, and getting to know all our Amqui families that get involved in the PTO. We are hoping 🙏 and still looking for someone, maybe a couple of someone's that would like to take on some officer positions for the next school year! Our Secretary moved and the President position is available. If you are interested, I would love to walk you through the process and would be around to help out. Also, just to say....I'm still going to be teaching art at Amqui!! But as I will no longer have any children that attend school here I can not serve on the PTO committee.

¡Atención, familia de Amqui!
Desde 2015, cuando mi hija mayor comenzó el jardín de infancia en Amqui, he servido como su presidenta de la PTO; y ahora que mi hija menor pasará a otra escuela el próximo año, ¡tengo que dejar mi cargo en la PTO! He disfrutado mucho organizando las "noches del espíritu escolar" (spirit nights) y los eventos de recaudación de fondos, así como conociendo a todas las familias de Amqui que se involucran en la PTO. Seguimos con la esperanza 🙏 —y a la búsqueda— de alguien (quizás un par de personas) a quien le gustaría asumir algunos cargos directivos para el próximo año escolar. Nuestra secretaria se ha mudado y el puesto de presidente está disponible. Si les interesa, me encantaría guiarlos a través del proceso y estaré disponible para echar una mano. Además, solo quería aclarar... ¡que seguiré enseñando arte en Amqui! Sin embargo, dado que ya no tendré hijos asistiendo a la escuela aquí, no podré formar parte del comité de la PTO.

Tomorrow is the last day of school. PreK will start dismissal at 1015am and K-8 will start dismissal at 1115am. Have a safe and wonderful summer!

Girls basketball tryouts 5th - 7th grade 3:15-5 pm.
