This week, I had the privilege of attending the WI National Guard Challenge Academy Class 56 graduation ceremony! 91 graduates worked hard to earn their high school equivalency diploma and achieve the 8 core competencies: Academic Excellence, Physical Fitness, Leadership/Followership, Responsible Citizenship, Job Skills, Service to Community, Health and Hygiene, and Life Coping Skills.
Congratulations to the graduates!

Today, we remember and honor the brave Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

On D-Day, thousands of young men faced unimaginable danger in defense of freedom, knowing many would never return home. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment helped turn the tide of World War II and changed the course of history.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we always honor the legacy of the Greatest Generation.
