The Madison Parole Transitional Healthcare Liaison, Sarah Ritchie, was awarded the Spirit of Caring award by the Centurion Associate Director of Community Care Angel Storms.

Sarah does so much for those who are on Parole in our district. She plays a vital role in make sure that inpatient and outpatient care has been secured. She also assists with medical needs and knows all of the ins and outs with assisting in getting birth certificates or social security documentation. Her spirit of caring for everyone she comes in contact with is noticed and we want to express our gratitude!

Congratulations! Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication to what you do!!

On July 2, 2025, the Division of Workforce Engagement stopped by the Madison Parole District to award our Administrative Assistant Briana Bryson with the IDOC Sidekick Award. Briana is always willing to assist others in the office without hesitation and expects nothing in return. We cannot express how thankful we are to have you, Briana! Congratulations 💙

Madison Parole began Correctional Professionals Appreciation Week dealing with a couple of rascals who arrived today 😻😻...... Meet the newest members of the PD9 family, "DOC Petey" and "Nine". After a few rounds of "hide and seek," they needed to take a rest.

Parole Agent Megan Doyle was recently recognized by a community organization for her amazing efforts with re-entry and dedication to outside organizations. An expression of gratitude was sent to parole leadership that stated in part: "the partnership that Megan has built with us has been phenomenal and honestly has restored her client’s faith in the criminal justice system."

Agent Doyle's teamwork and collaboration with the Holding Space Recovery Project, amongst others, is an example of what can happen when dedicated employees and community partners work together.

For "Strengthening the Team", Megan was awarded a district coin and a cash spot bonus.

CONGRATULATIONS to the IDOC 2024 Commissioner’s Experienced and Emerging Leadership Program graduates! This is a year long program focusing on developing your skills as a next level leader.

The Parole Division is proud to announce that District Supervisors Jack Ross and Kristine Johnson were among today’s graduates!

A special shout out to District Supervisors Marcus Blade and Justin Noblitt for serving as Team Advisors for the 2024 EEL Cohort!

A huge congratulations to both Jack and Kristine and to the entire 2024 Cohort! 🎓 Looking forward to the positive changes these emerging leaders will bring to our organization and communities!
