The deadline to participate in Main Street Madison's downtown Madison consumer survey is June 23rd.

The survey is meant to collect community feedback and guide the future development, business recruitment, and amenity planning for Downtown Madison. The market study helps local businesses expand their offerings and identifies community desires for new services, dining, and activities.

If you’d like input on the decision, now’s the time to share your thoughts: https://www.research.net/r/madisonal

This week we held two work sessions with the City Council. The first session on Tuesday included the Madison City School Board. We took a deep dive into our Comprehensive Plan. This included ideas for two busy corridors, Madison Blvd and Old Madison Pike.

On Wednesday night, we focused on parks and recreation. City staff shared their wishes, wants, and needs with the council, which include:

🌟Covered pickleball courts in Town Madison
🌟More baseball and softball fields and upgrades to existing fields at Palmer Park
🌟Miracle League Field at Palmer Park
🌟New aquatic center at Dublin Park
🌟New park on Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road west of County Line Road featuring soccer fields, a dog park, and a neighborhood park
🌟Archery range on Browns Ferry Road
🌟Upgrades to existing neighborhood parks

We are so excited about the potential and are looking at long-range planning to make these ideas a reality.
