The Madison Fire Dept has 28 members and we provide fire protection for approximately 10,000 residents in Lake County. covers 10 of the 16 townships in Lake County totaling 350 square miles. We also provide mutual aid to neighboring departments as needed. The City of Madison is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

Here is a taste of what our firefighters encounter when out in the Black Hills. There is even a few glimpses of a brush truck that belongs to our neighboring fire dept in Colton.

Our last and final winner is Darin Namken.

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and supported the department. In the last year, we were able to buy multiple new chain saws for our trucks, 3 sets of water rescue suits, water rescue gear, inflatable rescue boat, and we are finishing up a new tender truck. Without our local support, we wouldn't be equipped with the gear we need to serve Madison and all of Lake County.
