Hello! My name is Emma Jenkins and I am the Summer Intern for the Madison Virginia Cooperative Extension Office. My hometown is just up the road in Rappahannock County. I am a rising senior at Virginia Tech studying Environmental Horticulture. I am also a member of the Civilian Track in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. During my internship, I am hoping to learn a new side of community outreach and to get the opportunity to run a few youth programs this summer. There is still time! Join the Madison VCE Office in learning about Native Species and Pollinators. We will be building planters and sowing native wildflowers in them to create take-home pollinator gardens. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 30th from 9am-12pm at the Office.
