Light, reflection, translucence, and atmosphere bring this luminous coastal scene by David Dunlop to life. Weathered rocks rise from the water while colorful stones beneath the surface glow through the water. Delicate ribbons of sea foam weave among the rocks, adding a gentle sense of movement to the scene. Shimmering reflections of blue, silver, and gold sparkle across the water, catching the changing light. Reflection and translucence create a remarkable vibration of color and light, bringing a sense of movement, depth, and vitality to the water. In the distance, a veil of coastal fog softens the horizon, gently dissolving the boundary between sea and sky.

This morning, the Pride Flag was raised at the Madison Town Campus alongside members of our community, including Michael D’Agostino, President of Madison CT Pride, in recognition of National Pride Month.

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the progress that has been made toward equality and inclusion while recognizing that the work of building understanding, acceptance, and belonging continues. The raising of the Pride Flag serves as a reminder that Madison is a community that embraces diversity and strives to ensure that all people are valued, respected, and welcome. Together, we celebrate the unique perspectives and experiences that strengthen our community.
