If you haven't filled out our Opioid Abuse Survey, we could really use your voice in how to best address the crisis.

Madison has received a significant amount of Opioid abatement funds and is working on developing a plan to allocate the settlement funds in the most effective and appropriate manner. As a part of this process, residents and community stakeholders are invited to take a short online survey. There are two versions of the survey. The Community Members Survey is intended for Madison residents and business owners. The Stakeholders survey is intended for the people who work in the Madison community and professionally address Opioid abuse, such as public health officials, government leaders, municipal department heads, mental health providers, first responders, physicians, pharmacists, etc. We look forward to hearing from you!

The final asset category is Positive Identity. These are the assets that young people need to believe in their own self-worth and to feel that they have control over the things that happen to them. The four assets that make up this category are:

Personal power—Young person feels they have control over “things that happen to me.”

Self-esteem—Young person reports having a high self-esteem.

Sense of purpose—Young person reports that “my life has a purpose.”

Positive view of personal future—Young person is optimistic about their personal future.
