Heads up, everyone: we are seeing reports of a local spam call impersonating one of our deputies.

If you get a suspicious call, do not answer if you do not recognize the number, and never share personal, banking, or account information over the phone. Do not call this person back.

Scammers often try to create urgency or pretend to be from a trusted agency or business like the Sheriff's Office. If something feels off, hang up and contact the organization directly using a number you know is legitimate, which is 320-598-3720.

Please help spread the word and remind friends and family to stay alert.

Golf Cart Reminders in the City of Madison:

- A City of Madison golf cart permit is required
- Drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license
- Golf carts may NOT be operated between sunset and sunrise
- Golf carts are NOT permitted on Highways 75 and 40 and County Roads (1st Avenue and main street)
