4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization, involving young people in urban, suburban and rural communities. 4-H fosters an innovative, “learn by doing” approach with proven results. Young people in the 4-H program are more likely to earn better grades and go to college, more likely to be a strong part of their families and communities, and less likely to engage in risky behaviors.

Join the South Dakota 4-H and SDSU School of American and Global Studies for a day of learning how your voice matters in local governments. Youth will explore how local government operates through hands-on activities, real-world simulations, and conversations with community leaders.

When: November 7th 10:00 - 2:30 PM
Where: Mitchell, SD
