South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks is looking for a hands on, motivated leader to help keep our parks safe, welcoming, and well maintained for visitors across the Madison District. If you love working outdoors, enjoy leading maintenance crews, and take pride in high quality facility and grounds upkeep, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead maintenance operations for Lake Herman State Park, Walkers Point, Lake Thompson, six lakeside use areas, and eight public access sites.
• Supervise permanent staff, seasonal crews, and volunteers.
• Plan and manage daily to long range maintenance projects.
• Oversee remodels, repairs, construction, equipment operations, and grounds care.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and partners.
• Keep facilities safe, functional, and visitor ready year round.
