MADISON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM - RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

This Madison County School System campus social media page aims to share important information about the district and campus with the public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

- Open conversation, not personal issues. This page is not intended to c

ircumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal problems and concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school, or a staff member will be removed.

- Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

- Want to boost your product sales? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our district.

- Stay on topic. This page is dedicated to educating students in the Madison County School System and this school. Comments are welcome as long as they directly relate to a topic.

- Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment on this page.

- Be aware of the mission. The mission of Madison County School System and this school is education. Please ensure your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

- Be factual; blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. MCSS social media managers will remove false information and post accurate information.

- All comments and communication must come from a verifiable account. Statements made by individuals who misrepresent themselves, representing themselves as someone other than themselves or from unverifiable accounts, will be removed.

- Employees of the Madison County School System and this school may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their private lives personal. This page is yours, and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the Madison County School System and this campus. Just know abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removing a specific posting or your blocking/removal from our fan page.

✨ The wait is over…it’s officially the first day of school! ✨

Our halls are full, our classrooms are buzzing, and the smiles have already made this the best kind of morning.

To our students: you’ve got this! Whether you’re walking through our doors for the very first time or you’re a seasoned Lion, we’re so glad you’re here.

To our parents: thank you for trusting us with your greatest treasures. We know those first day hugs can be exciting, emotional, and everything in between. We’re honored to be part of your family’s journey this year.

Here’s to new friendships, big dreams, unforgettable memories, and an amazing school year ahead.

Please enter through the front doors of the school. Doors will open at 4:00 PM.

OSR Pre-K Families (Mrs. Blackwood & Mrs. Flesch's classes): Please join us at 3:30 PM in the cafeteria for a meeting before Open House. You may enter through the playground doors for this meeting.
