Since it was enacted, Act 10 has saved Wisconsin taxpayers an estimated $35 billion, and played a central role in our state's strong fiscal position. I applaud the Court of Appeals on rendering a clearly correct decision.

Since it was enacted, Act 10 has been upheld numerous times by both state and federal courts as constitutional. I hope our State Supreme Court Justices take this into account when this case goes to them for a final verdict.

Today, America celebrates 250 years of liberty!

When our founding fathers declared the independence of the 13 colonies, they didn't merely create a new country, but a new kind of country: one dedicated to individual freedom, where your success was determined by hard work and perseverance, and where all stand equal before the law. The commitment and sacrifices of ordinary Americans to the ideals of our founding have built the United States into the greatest, freest, most powerful nation the world has ever seen!

As we celebrate 250 years of excellence, I hope you will join me in rededicating ourselves to the virtues and principles which birthed our country, and which serve as a beacon of possibility for humanity. As we look back on two and a half centuries of progress, I am confident that our best days are still to come!

I applaud our State Supreme Court for their common sense in eliminating this discriminatory grant program in our universities and technical colleges!

This session, I was proud to co-sponsor a bill to end race-based aid and scholarship programs, which was ultimately vetoed by Governor Evers. Racial discrimination has no place in Wisconsin, and this decision is a major win for equality under the law!

MAJOR WIN: The Wisconsin Supreme Court sides with WILL and holds that the Evers Administration cannot offer scholarships based on race. This is a huge win for equality and provides a ROADMAP for Wisconsin Taxpayers to challenge many other programs worth billions of dollars!

Recently, I had the chance to visit AROW Global Corp. in Mosinee and tour the facility where they make windows for busses and large vehicles that are used across the country!

I always enjoy getting to see the manufacturing facilities which keep the 87th Assembly District moving forward. Manufacturing plays a critical role in Wisconsin, employing hundreds of thousands of workers and supporting countless families. Thank you to all of our state's manufacturers for everything you do!

On June 6th, 1944, the Allied armies began the liberation of Europe by landing on the beaches of Normandy. 82 years later, we still remember the courage of the men who fought in the name of freedom.

May we never forget the sacrifices made by our armed forces on D-Day, or the freedoms which so many gave their lives to defend.
