Heads up! 2026 shelter reservations start this Monday (12/1) at 8 am for Lake County residents, and open reservations begin Thursday (12/4). With 24 reservable shelters across the county, it’s easy to find the perfect spot for your next get-together. 🌳✨

All shelters include picnic tables, grills and restrooms, and some offer extra perks like electricity, trails, playgrounds or volleyball courts. Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance. Browse and reserve online at goto.lakemetroparks.com/shelter-reservations or call 440-358-7275.

NOTICE: The parking lot, overlook and trail at Arcola Creek Park are closed until further notice. Crews are onsite to construct a larger paved parking lot, flush restrooms, a shelter, picnic tables, grills and a bench swing. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we make these improvements. Please check back for updates.

NOTICE: Construction work is underway at Arcola Creek Park. Plans include a larger paved parking lot, flush restrooms, a shelter, picnic tables, grills and a bench swing. Crews have begun parking lot improvements.

Please expect intermittent closures in the coming months. We will do our best to post specific closures, however, plans may be impacted by weather conditions and other circumstances. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we make these improvements.
