CBP Officer Candidate Fitness Requirements
CBP Officer Candidates are required to take and pass two Pre-employment Fitness Tests (PFT-1 & PFT-2). The PFT-1 is the first step in the hiring process and is conducted with your medical exam. The PFT-2 is taken approximately 30 days prior to your entrance on duty. To increase your chances of passing both PFTs, review and practice both of the fitness requirements, and engage in a regular physical exercise program. Be sure to consult with your personal physician prior to engaging in a regular fitness program.

We need your help! The Minnesota Military Family Tribute (MFT) is currently being built on the Minnesota State Capitol Mall and needs your help with the Story Stone component. 87 Story Stones are now located at the east end of the Tribute representing each of the State's 87 counties. Excerpts from correspondence sent between soldiers and family members will be etched onto these stones. Each county is asked to proved 2 to 3 pieces of correspondence for inclusion on the Story Stones, with each county being represented by one inscription. Correspondence may be from any timeframe from the Cilvil War to present, and need not be from during a conflict. The deadline for submission is Monday, December 1, 2014.
