GREAT NEWS...The Town of Madison was awarded $525,000 from the State Budget! 🎉

This allotment of money has been earmarked for the Madison River Park - but that got me thinking....

As members of the Madison community, how would you have liked for us to spend $525,000?

👉🏻Tell me all the things!! Give me all the ideas - from the smallest or cheapest addition - all the way to your big money wants.

Again, this award has to be used for the Madison River Park, per the state guidelines.

I am simply starting this conversation for our future. 💁🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

Today, the sweetest surprise showed up at my office and it truly caught me off guard 🥹 in the best way.

Serving the citizens of Madison isn't always easy, and some days feel flat isolating.

But surprises like this? They remind me I'm not in this alone.

To everyone who has trusted me with their voice, their concerns, and their hopes for the Town of Madison…THANK YOU. ❤️🥰❤️

I see you, I hear you, and I'm more determined than ever!

The future of Madison is bright, and I can't wait to keep building it with you. ⭐️

I am very interested in the “more to come” - maybe there will be some good ideas for the Town of Madison to implement. 🙌🏻💃

Vacant property doesn’t just look bad.

It increases crime. Depresses property values. Diminishes the tax base. Repels investors, tenants, and tourists. Breeds apathy.

And here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud: there is absolutely no reason any community should ever suffer from it.

You have the legal authority to do something about it. Most towns just choose not to.
