What an incredible day in Madison. πŸ’œ

This year’s Madison Walk for Epilepsy was one of our largest yet, with 158 participants coming together in support of the epilepsy community β€” and together, we raised more than $26,000 to help support programs and services across Wisconsin, including seizure first aid training, youth camps, adult retreats, support programs, education, advocacy, and outreach for individuals and families impacted by epilepsy.

To every walker, donor, volunteer, sponsor, team captain, and supporter: thank you. Thank you for showing up, sharing your stories, supporting your loved ones, and helping create a community where no one feels alone.

The energy, connection, and support felt throughout the day was truly something special, and we are so grateful to everyone who made it possible.

Thank you, Madison. We already can’t wait for next year. πŸ’œ

This EMS Week, we’re proud to recognize and thank the EMS professionals who show up every day with compassion, professionalism, and lifesaving care for our communities. πŸš‘πŸ’œ

We’re especially grateful for our partnership with Wisconsin EMS Association and the opportunity to attend their Conference earlier this year, where we provided seizure first aid education to 300 EMS students.

Our team at the Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin also offers seizure first aid education for EMS, first responders, and law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin, as education and awareness play an important role in improving seizure response and building safer, more informed communities throughout our state.

Thank you to all EMS professionals for the care, confidence, and compassion you bring to every call β€” this week and every week. πŸ’œ
