🔥 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 🔥

This is a short clip of Madison firefighters working alongside Monrovia Fire-Rescue crews at the structure fire on Alder Branch Court. These firefighters extinguished a well-advanced attic fire as quick as possible, to save as much property as possible. They also conducted searches of the home simultaneous to fire attack taking place, which were negative.

We had a great opportunity to be involved in a large scale multi agency train derailment drill in Huntsville today. Thanks to Huntsville Fire, Huntsville PD, Madison PD, Huntsville City Schools, EMA, Red Cross, Huntsville Utilities, Alabama A&M PD, HEMSI, and all the role players. We might be missing a few but it shows with large incidents of this type that can occur at a moments notice, it takes the entire community to rally together for the best possible outcome for all involved.

Just after 4AM this morning, Madison firefighters were dispatched for mutual aid with Monrovia Fire and Rescue for the report of a house on fire in the 200 Block of Alder Branch Ct. Engine 3 went on scene a short time later to find flames out of the roof of a two story single family dwelling. Madison firefighters began an offensive attack with Monrovia, and shortly after arrival, Battalion 1 requested Ladder 1 for additional manpower. The searches were negative, the fire was extinguished, and all crews returned to service.

Live Save Award for a Cardiac Arrest Save on March 7th: Driver Tyler Drew and Firefighter Matthew Fetner

Live Save Award for a Cardiac Arrest Save on March 10th: Captain Eddie Richardson, Driver Cody Nowakowski, and Firefighter Chris Barnes

Maltese Cross Award on March 31st for Pulling a Victim Out of a House Fire: Firefighter Adam Greenlee, Firefighter Christopher Weis, Firefighter Brett Dannemiller, and Firefighter Drake Gavcus
