We love seeing our local heroes spending quality time with their families while giving back to the community!

Shoutout to Sergeant Ogle, Officer Jason Lawrenz, and Officer Jonathan Lawrenz for setting an amazing example!

As we're on Spring Break this week, we encourage all parents to take a moment to do something meaningful with your kids. Show them the value of giving back and making a positive impact!

Let's make this Spring Break one to remember!

We have a Hero in need of your help! Trooper Iniguez, THP Madisonville and his family lost all of their possessions in a house fire. The boys are ages 3 and 4 years old. Trooper Iniguez was deployed to the Capitol during the fire. Luckily no one was injured but the house and all possessions were destroyed by the fire.
The DPS Troopers Foundation is raising money for the Iniguez family through Help a Hero. A fee is charged up front when you make a donation, 100% of the funds raised will go to the family. If you are able, please help.
Sgt. Smith, THP Centerville is also allowing for clothing donations at the Centerville office located at 204 East St. Mary in Centerville, 75833.

Today and every day, we honor our National Resource Officers who dedicate their lives to keeping our communities and schools safe.

But we also recognize the unsung heroes behind these brave men and women - their spouses and children.

To the families who give up precious time with their loved ones, who endure late-night worries and early-morning sendoffs, and who make countless sacrifices so their officers can protect others.

Happy National Resource Officers' Day, from our department to yours."

And, it looks like Danny was keeping Sergeant Ogle's chair warm for him during lunch! Thanks for being a haven for our students, Sergeant Ogle! "

We had an absolute blast hosting the Junior High Life Skills kids on our Christmas float! They had a blast (and might've gotten a little carried away with the candy we found it hidden in the hay bales). Thanks to Mrs. Wolff and Mrs. Karr for chaperoning and to the parents for trusting us with their kiddos!

In Anita Foster's wildlife class, we were tasked with organizing a fi****ms presentation on gun safety at the high school. Officer Lawrenz kindly agreed to help. Interestingly, there's been some confusion on campus since he has a twin! Can you guess which twin is pictured below ?
