Mrs. Hallner’s class was the first class to visit the greenhouse this year! We helped w**d the beds and planted flowers and cucumbers! We can’t wait to go back and watch our hard work grow!!

💛🎗️ LANCASTER IS GOING GOLD! 🎗️💛

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re showing our support for the brave children and families impacted by childhood cancer!

⭐ All month long: Students may wear gold or yellow accessories with their uniforms — bows, socks, bracelets, ribbons and more!

💛 Friday, September 25: Let’s fill Lancaster with GOLD! Students may wear a gold or yellow shirt to school.

Together, our Terrific Turtles can help shine a light on childhood cancer and show these families just how much we support them. 🎗️🐢💛

Our headbands arrived with colored beading for LES instead of white. While there is nothing wrong with the headbands, they simply aren’t our original colors. You actually might love them this way!

Mrs. Kornfuhrer’s ELA students paid homage to Dolly Parton during today’s Leader in Me lesson! Students chose bookmarks featuring some of their teacher’s favorite Dolly quotes and enjoyed some time to Drop Everything and Read—a perfect tribute to Dolly’s lifelong commitment to helping children discover the joy of reading.

Last year, thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to provide a custom Fun Run shirt to EVERY student at Lancaster Elementary at no cost to our families! 💙💚🐢

We’re excited to do it again this year, but we need YOUR help!

We are looking for local businesses to become Lancaster Fun Run Shirt Sponsors and help us provide shirts for 1,300+ students!

⭐ As a sponsor, your business logo will be featured on the Fun Run shirt worn by 1,300+ Lancaster students! ⭐

Your sponsorship is a wonderful way to support local students, encourage youth health and physical activity, give back to our school community, and showcase your business while making a difference.

All sponsorship commitments must be received by October 9, 2026 so we can have shirts ready for every student.
