🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

To our friends atSt. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office:

Relax. We’re not doing it.

The donut jokes are too obvious, too easy, and honestly below our level of creativity.

We’ll save our energy for another day.

To everyone who celebrates, enjoy your day!

🌀 Do you know what today is?

If you said June 1st, you’re right.

If you said the first day of hurricane season, you’re also right.

And no, we haven’t been counting down the days for it to get here.

But now that it’s here, we’ll ask one simple question:

Do you have a plan?

Not just supplies. A plan.

Do you know where you’ll go if you need to evacuate?

Do you have enough medication on hand?

Have you checked on family members who may need assistance?

What’s your backup plan if Plan A doesn’t work?

Take a few minutes today and talk it over with your family.

The best time to prepare is before there’s a storm in the Gulf. 🚒

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

While many spend today with family and friends, we pause to recognize the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who never made it home.

From all of us at Fire District 2, we thank and honor our fallen heroes.
