Join us for the Push-In Ceremony of Tender 27

Notchey Creek Fire-Rescue is proud to invite our community to the official Push-In Ceremony for our new Tender 27 on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Notchey Creek Fire Station.

This new apparatus represents a major investment in the safety and protection of our community, and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with the citizens we proudly serve.

Community members and local officials are encouraged to attend and take part in this special event. Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be provided as we gather together to celebrate the addition of Tender 27 to our fleet.

We look forward to sharing this special day with our community and thanking everyone who continues to support Notchey Creek Fire-Rescue.

..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN BRADLEY...WESTERN POLK...SOUTHERN MCMINN AND SOUTHWESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 557 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Charleston to near Cohutta, moving east at 40
mph. Hamilton County dispatch reported numerous trees down all
across the county.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Benton, Etowah, Charleston, East Cleveland, Wildwood Lake,
South Cleveland, Calhoun, Waterville, and Conasauga.

This includes Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 37 and
38.

Our monthly meeting was filled with great food, friendly competition, and even better fellowship. From dinner together to a fun game of corn hole, it was a great evening spent with fellow members. We appreciate everyone who came out and continues to support the mission and brotherhood of our department. Moments like these strengthen the bonds that help us better serve our community every day.
