2026 4-H Area Teen program in the books! 4-H LEADS teens took a quick trip to Holiday World and an amazing lodge, where they developed leadership skills, learned to navigate challenges, and created unforgettable memories with peers, despite the rain.

Hopkins County 4-H was well represented at the Area Speech Competition!

We are incredibly proud of all of the Hopkins County youth who stepped outside their comfort zones, shared their voices, and competed at such a high level against fierce competition from across the area. Public speaking is not easy, and these young people continue to show confidence, leadership, and courage every time they step in front of a crowd.

A special congratulations to the Hopkins County 4-H members who will be advancing on to the State Competition! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we cannot wait to cheer you on as you represent Hopkins County at the state level.

4-H Arts & Crafts Club 2026 has officially wrapped up!

A huge thank you to our amazing leader, Lisa Keown, for sharing your creativity, passion, and love for the arts with the youth of Hopkins County. We appreciate all the time and energy you pour into making this club such a fun and memorable experience each year.

We can’t wait to see all the crazy ideas you cook up for next year!

Hopkins County 4-H was proud to partner with Todd, Webster, and Henderson County 4-H programs to help share the love of camp with FMD youth across West Kentucky.

Adventure Camp was more than just a day outdoors — it was an opportunity for youth to experience friendship, confidence-building, leadership, and the joy that comes from trying something new in a safe and welcoming environment. From canoeing and fishing to nature exploration, crafts, and shooting sports, the smiles and memories made throughout the day reminded us why camp experiences matter so much.

One of the greatest parts of Extension and 4-H is the ability to work together across county lines to create meaningful opportunities for youth. When counties collaborate, we can reach more young people and make an even greater impact across our communities.

Thank you to every volunteer, teacher, staff member, sponsor, and community partner who helped make the 1st Annual Adventure Camp possible. We are already excited about growing this opportunity for even more youth in the future.
