On October 20, 2026, the Hopkins County 4-H Outdoors Club traveled to the 1800's Homeplace at Land Between the Lakes where club members experienced authentic daily tasks for those living in that period of history. Students transported and hung to***co, learned about cabin life before electricity, and learned primitive faming methods. After lunch, students traveled to Grand Rivers for ice cream along with a brief tour of Lighthouse Landing. It was a beautiful day for the outdoors and making connections to our environment, on land and near freshwater! Next club meeting is at the extension office on 11/3 4-5:15 pm!
