We are beyond excited to share some HUGE news from CASA Monroe!
Yesterday, we proudly announced that Kent had been invited to serve on the National CASA/GAL Volunteer Council beginning May 2026 — an incredible honor that recognizes his dedication to advocating for children and families in Monroe County.
But as the day went on, we discovered something even more exciting…
We don’t have just ONE outstanding advocate receiving this prestigious honor — we have TWO! 🎊 Please join us in congratulating Stephanie on this incredible achievement!
Both Stephanie and Kent have been selected to serve on the National CASA/GAL Volunteer Council, where they will help represent volunteer voices from across the country and partner with the National CASA/GAL Association on issues impacting child advocacy nationwide.
Since joining CASA in 2023, Stephanie has made an incredible impact — advocating for many children through complex cases with unwavering dedication and heart. 💙 Her strong communication, organization, and time management skills allow her to truly show up for the children and families she serves. As a first responder, her commitment to helping others extends far beyond CASA, and her passion for learning ensures she is always growing to better support those who need her most.
And alongside Stephanie, Kent’s kindness, reliability, and passion for helping others have also made an extraordinary impact in the lives of children in our community. To have TWO volunteers from Monroe County selected for this level of national service is truly remarkable, and we could not be more proud!!
