Public Assist – Two Dogs Rescued! 🐾

Today, our crews responded to a public assist for two dogs that had become stuck in a pond and were unable to get out.

Thankfully, our crew was able to safely rescue both dogs and get them back on dry land!

We’re happy to report that this rescue had a pawsitive ending for everyone involved!

We’ve received an uptick in calls regarding the hay bale fire on the south end of town along Hwy 26.

The hay will continue to smolder for some time, and this is expected. Emergency crews are aware of the situation, and there is no new emergency at this time.

Thank you all for your vigilance as we know this is a sensitive time with the extreme weather and fire behavior!
