* 1st & State
* 2nd & State, north along State Street to the Canal

Potential Water Service Disruption: If a valve does not operate properly, the affected area could be larger and may extend from 1st & Market, north to Market and the Canal, and from Market, west to Locust, and west to Walnut.
Although water may appear brown or discolored, it is safe to drink. If you notice discolored water, please run cold water from a faucet on the lowest level of your home for several minutes until the water clears.
As a precaution, residents are asked to avoid washing laundry, especially white clothing, during the installation period, as discolored water may cause staining. If you continue to experience low water pressure or discolored water for more than 24 hours, please contact the Water Plant Operator Blake Jans at (515) 795-2283 or (515) 897-9495.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support of our contractors and Public Works staff as these important improvements are completed.
