🚨🚨🚨Regarding Utility Billing: 🚨🚨🚨

2nd quarter utility billing has been sent. Mailings had a holiday involved so please be patient. All utility bills are due 7/31/26.

Please ensure you have the village email marked as safe for email customers and that your inbox is not full. We had a couple pop back as inbox full.

Please update accounts to email correspondence by sending an email to [email protected] if you have not done so. If you have previously communicated with us on email correspondence your account is updated. Previous communication was sent out on the village converting to email billing.

Please note: Our banking relationship pertaining to the account associated with utility payments has changed. Adams Bank and Trust is no longer a drop location for payments. Please utilize one of the options stated on your invoices for payment drops. We have added a drop slot (which is secure and locked on the inside) in the outer West entry door of the village hall with 24/7 access. Our drop-box inside the West entry door in the breezeway has been converted to a locked drop-box as well to provide more security. You may still mail payments, these options above are for those who prefer to drop payments or need after hours access.

Please check your records. Utility payments are due tomorrow May 1st. Late fees of $100 are automatically added on May 11th. All payments received as of 10:30am were included on today’s end of month deposit.

Dog registration is also due May 1st for all dogs residing within village limits. $5/dog and a copy of current shot records including rabies. If needed, you may absolutely utilize the payment drop at the hall for payments/copies of vaccinations for dog registrations and tags can be sent out. If including dog registration with your utility payment and are paying all in one check please state this in the memo and be sure to include a copy of current shot records for each dog.

We have emails coming in from NPPD for multiple addresses in Madrid with power outages. Time of restoration estimated to be 12:55pm as of our last update.

The tire disposal originally scheduled for April 7th-10th has now ended.
We cannot accept any more tires as we are well over our 150 ton limit.
