🏈 Magee Middle School Football Summer Workouts 🏈

Attention Middle School Football Players and Parents!

Summer football workouts will begin Monday, June 1, 2026. Workouts will take place at the football field and are very important for preparing for the upcoming season.

📅 Workout Schedule:
• Mondays–Fridays
• 8:00 AM & 1:00 PM

📌 Important Dates:
• May 25–29: Off Week
• July 6–10: “Dead Week” / Off Week

Players are encouraged to attend and work hard all summer as we prepare for a great football season!

📚☀️ **MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!** ☀️📚

Hey there, Trojan Families! As we head into summer break, we want to make sure our students keep their minds sharp and their imaginations active.

This summer, all incoming middle school students are **required** to participate in our Summer Reading Program! 📚✨

# # # 🗓️ The Details:

* **The Books:** Check out the video and picture attached to this post to see the full list of exciting book choices for each grade level! 🎥📖
* **The Project:** Students will choose **one** book from their grade's list and complete a creative book project (exact details will be provided during the first week of school; mostly focus on reading and comprehending your book during the summer)
* **Due Date:** All projects are due September 4.

# # # ⚠️ Important Note for Parents & Guardians:

Please note that this is an independent, at-home assignment. **Class time will not be used for reading the books or working on the projects.** Students are expected to have their reading and project completed entirely at home before the September deadline so they are ready to hit the ground running!

💡 **Tip:** Don't wait until August! We highly recommend hitting up the local library or grabbing a copy early so your student can read at a relaxed pace over the summer.

The Pajama Day posting and flyer being shared were not sent out or approved by Magee Middle School. There will be NO Pajama Day tomorrow, and all students are expected to report to school in regular dress code attire.

Please remember that all authorized school flyers, announcements, and any future dress-up day information will be posted on the school’s website, shared on the official school page, sent through SchoolStatus, and/or sent home with students.
