📚 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO CMRLS! 📚

We’re upgrading to Polaris, a new library system designed to make using your library easier and more convenient!

As we make the switch, library services will be limited to checkouts only from September 14–22, 2026. During this time, some services—including new library card registrations, fine and fee payments, and holds—will be temporarily unavailable. Please see the graphic for full details.

✨ Once the transition is complete, you’ll notice improvements to our library system and catalog. A new library app and mobile self-checkout are also on the way, but they will not be available immediately when Polaris launches. We’ll share more information as these features become available!

Today we are saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton, a beloved musician, storyteller, philanthropist, and lifelong champion of the power of reading. Through her Imagination Library, Dolly helped put books into the hands and hearts of millions of children, inspiring generations to discover the joy of stories and the possibilities that come with them. As a library system, we are grateful for Dolly’s enduring belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, imagine, and dream. Her legacy will continue to live on in the countless readers whose lives have been touched by a book. Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that kindness, imagination, and a good story can change the world.
