The first nine weeks FLEW by! Our library has been a center for student's academic growth and learning for our hardworking bears. From extension activities to digital citizenship to guest speakers, and everything in-between! Thank you so much to parent volunteers who have donated their time to create a more user-friendly nonfiction area to our library this first nine weeks. We have seen drastic increase in nonfiction circulation! Keep an eye out for more amazing things happening in our library this school year.🐻✨

And the library is open for business! 7th and 8th grade ELA classes visited the library this last week to get their first books of the school year checked out and explore the Makerspace. The library loves visits from our clever and creative bears! 🐻📚

As our 8th graders prepare for their upcoming dance and much deserved summer break, they’ve found the time to come visit the library and learn a little bit about oversharing on social media and how it can impact their digital footprint. We love our responsible digital citizens! 💻📱

EPIC event on Thursday was awesome!! 🔥 I didn’t get pictures of all of the amazing community members that volunteered to interview but we appreciate your time spent with our awesome BBJH students. So many great things happening in our schools. 🤩 Thank you H-E-B and Magnolia Rotary Club for sponsoring this event.
