We’ve reached another milestone with our online auctions of unsold property: 13,000 deeds!
We started online auctions in July 2021. Since then, those auctions have produced over $5.18 million in bids. We’ve issued deeds on more than 13,000 parcels sold in the online auction.
These auctions are continuous. During auction season, we add parcels to the list 30 days after offering those parcels at auction. And they remain on that list until they’re either redeemed or sold.
We currently have over 6,500 parcels available for online auction, with active bidding on 730 (as of this post). One parcel of 13.75 acres in Columbia County has 78 bids. Twenty-five parcels have 10 or more bids.
The highest current bid is over $8,600 on a parcel in Sharp County, with just two bids. Only four parcels have bids over $5,000.
We remind you to research and exercise due diligence before bidding on a parcel. Bids are legal and binding offers, and we do not make any guarantees about the parcels on the auction list.
