**ATTENTION - Updated April 17, 2026
{Pursuant to the requirements of Reappraisal Act 139 of 2023 which amended 26-26-1902; Acts 440 and 836 of 1997, and Acts 1185 and 416 of 1999.} Notice is hereby given to all property owners in Columbia County that the Columbia County Assessor intends to conduct the county wide reappraisal for ad valorem tax purposes of all parcels of real estate in Columbia County starting January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2027. Columbia County Assessor's Office is contracted with Total Assessments Solutions Corporation also known as TASC.
****We have an appraiser in the field the next two working days predominantly in the following areas but not limited to these areas:
- Belair Subdivision
- Sectionized areas of Magnolia City (Sections 6 and 7 of Township 17, Range 20 West.)
The following subdivision and sectionized parts of Magnolia City are still under field/site appraisal work throughout year 2026.
