🚒 Meet FF/EMT Jonathan Hawkins

Jonathan Hawkins has proudly served with Magnolia Fire Rescue for 1 year. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Jonathan graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School. After coming to Magnolia to attend Southern Arkansas University, he built lasting friendships, became involved in the community, and found a place that truly felt like home.

When he’s not on duty, Jonathan enjoys spending time with friends, working out at the gym, and playing pickleball.

Jonathan chose the fire service because he wanted to help his community and make a difference in the lives of others. He says one of the best parts of the job is that he truly enjoys coming to work each day. He has expanded his commitment to serving others by also working with Columbia County Ambulance Service (CCAS).

Thank you, Jonathan, for your dedication to our community and your passion for service!

Meet FF/EMT Blake Stringfellow

For the past 2 years, Blake has proudly served the citizens of Magnolia as a firefighter/EMT. A graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Blake is known for his dedication to serving others and answering the call when his community needs him most.

Blake and his wife, Ashley, call Magnolia home, and he takes great pride in protecting the community he serves.

Magnolia Fire-Rescue would like to congratulate Chief Jacob Tapley on graduating from the Arkansas Executive Fire Officer Program.

Chief Tapley was selected to be in the pilot cohort of Arkansas’s new EFO program. Graduates were recognized at the 100th Anniversary Arkansas Fire Conference.
