Mayor Marvin Brumfield Gives Pike County Businessman Rob Belote a Tour of Magnolia Ballfield Upgrades

Mayor Marvin Brumfield recently gave Pike County businessman Rob Belote a tour of the ongoing improvements and future plans for Magnolia’s recreational facilities and ballfields.

Mr. Belote has already made a substantial donation toward these revitalization efforts and remains fully committed to supporting the Mayor’s vision for restoring and enhancing recreational opportunities for the youth and families of Magnolia.

For many years, the City of Magnolia has been without a fully operational softball or baseball field. Recreational facilities have not received the attention they deserve, leaving generations of children without a dedicated place to play, learn teamwork, and participate in organized sports within their own community.

While questions and concerns have been raised regarding the project, Mayor Brumfield wants citizens to know that safety remains a top priority. A comprehensive safety plan will be implemented as improvements move forward to ensure that these facilities serve the community in a safe and responsible manner.

Most importantly, the Mayor believes that the children of Magnolia deserve the opportunity to have quality recreational facilities and a place they can proudly call their own. Investing in recreation is an investment in the future of our community and the well-being of our youth.

The City of Magnolia is grateful for community leaders and business partners like Rob Belote who are investing in the future of our youth and helping make these long-overdue improvements a reality.

“When I saw Mayor Brumfield on the roof, I had to come and offer my help. When this type of leader comes along, we all need to support him.”
— Rob Belote

Together, we are building a stronger community, revitalizing important public spaces, and creating opportunities for future generations of Magnolia families.
