A new multipurpose water fountain is finished in Albertson Park. This is great if you are just walking around the walking path, playing basketball, or if your dog is enjoying the dog park. The water fountain is funded through a Camden County Open Space Recreation Grant.

Mayor Cowling-Carson and the Magnolia Borough Council Recognize Our Public Works Employees

At the May 6, 2026, Regular Council Meeting, the Mayor and Borough Council recognized our DPW employees for their continued dedication to our community.

Mayor Cowling-Carson and Public Works Director, Councilwoman Shawn Parker, presented a proclamation to our Public Works Superintendent, Paul Sexton, recognizing National Public Works Week (NPWW) from May 17 through May 23.

The Mayor and Borough Council wish to thank our Public Works Team for their continued dedication to providing outstanding services to our town throughout the year. We urge all residents to say THANK YOU when they see one of our DPW Employees around town.

Mayor Cowling-Carson and the Magnolia Borough Council Recognize Our First Responders

At the May 6, 2026, Regular Council Meeting, the Mayor and Borough Council recognized our first responder agencies for their continued dedication to providing public safety services to our residents and surrounding communities.

Mayor Cowling-Carson and Public Safety Director, Councilman Anthony DePrince, presented proclamations to our Police, Fire, and Ambulance first responders who were in attendance, recognizing the following during the month of May:

National Police Week - May 10 through May 16.
National Emergency Medical Services Week - May 17 through May 23.
International Firefighters Day - May 4.

The Mayor and Borough Council wish to thank these hometown heroes for their continued dedication and sacrifice in protecting and serving us all. We urge all residents to say THANK YOU when they see one of our Police Officers, Firefighters, or Emergency Medical Technicians around town.
