Let's pour ourselves a cup of ambition on 9/25 in honor of Dolly. 💖

Dolly gave us “9 to 5” and now Montgomery County will honor her on 9/25.

I am proud to announce that I have proclaimed September 25, 2026, as Dolly Parton Day in Montgomery County to honor her extraordinary life and enduring legacy.

Through her legendary music, remarkable generosity, commitment to children’s literacy and unmistakable American spirit, Dolly touched generations and made a lasting difference in countless lives.

In the coming weeks, I will present a resolution to the Montgomery County Commissioners Court to formally recognize September 25 as Dolly Parton Day throughout Montgomery County.

On 9/25, we will celebrate the life, legacy and lasting impact of the one and only Dolly Parton.
