***THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS UPGRADED THE WINTER STORM WARNING TO A BLIZZARD WARNING FOR CAMDEN COUNTY***

***NJ Governor Mikie Sherril Declares State of Emergency Effective 12 Noon, Sunday, February 22, 2026***

Mayor BettyAnn Cowling-Carson, Councilman Tony DePrince (Emergency Management Coordinator), and Councilwoman Shawn Parker (Public Works Director) are monitoring, along with State and County Officials, the latest weather forecasts from the National Weather Service. As a result, the Borough Office of Emergency Management, Magnolia Public Works, the Magnolia Police Department, the Magnolia Fire Company, and Magnolia Ambulance are coordinating response efforts for the forecasted winter storm to ensure continued response for Public Safety Calls and Snow Removal Operations.

As was previously suggested, please plan appropriately for the storm, and when possible, follow the suggestions below:
Please continue to monitor the National Weather Service athttps://www.weather.gov/phi/ (https://www.weather.gov/phi/) and local media outlets for the latest weather information.
When possible, please remove all vehicles and other objects from the street to allow for emergency vehicle access and snow plowing operations.Note: It is understood that not all residents have driveways, so we ask all residents to do their best.
Reminder, snow removal operations are conducted based on the Borough Emergency Snow removal plan, which prioritizes Police, Fire, and Ambulance facilities along with other critical Borough Infrastructure and Emergency Routes.

Please only utilize 9-1-1 for Police, Fire, and Ambulance Emergency Services that need immediate attention.
If you need assistance of a non-emergency nature for public safety matters, please call the Non-Emergency number at 856-784-1884.

If you need any assistance for Sewer Emergencies or Public Works matters, please call 609-868-2552.

Let's all look out for our neighbors, especially our seniors or disabled residents. We all need to look out for each other and help where we can. Remember our motto, "One Square Mile of Friendliness."

Please keep in your thoughts and prayers our Police, Fire, and Ambulance First Responders, Public Works Employees, and others who are essential workers in Healthcare and other industries who must work during the storm.
