🎣☀️ What a great day of fun, fellowship, and fresh air! Magnolia Housing Authority residents recently enjoyed a wonderful fishing outing with our team. A special thank you to our Maintenance Supervisor and Resident Initiative Coordinator for helping make the day memorable and creating an experience filled with smiles and laughter.

To make things even more exciting, residents participated in a friendly fishing challenge with prizes awarded for the first fish caught and the most fish caught! 🏆🐟

Moments like these remind us that building community is about more than housing, it’s about creating connections, encouraging engagement, and making lasting memories together.

Join us in congratulating Ms. Tazaria Harris on receiving the Bromo Wilson Memorial Employee Dependent Scholarship through the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (ARNAHRO). 🎓

This competitive scholarship honors students who demonstrate excellence in academics, community involvement, and extracurricular activities, making this achievement truly well deserved.

Looks like the pond has a new fishing pro in town! One of our amazing residents has been enjoying some peaceful time by the water—and let’s just say, she’s been reeling in some pretty big catches! 🐟👏

Applying for LIHEAP energy assistance
Answering questions about electric bills
Providing general customer support and resources

What to Bring for LIHEAP Applications:

Please bring the following documents if you need assistance applying for LIHEAP:

Valid ID
Social Security card
Proof of all household income
Copies of your most recent electric bills
Copy of your lease agreement (if you live in subsidized housing or utilities are included in your rent)

This is a great opportunity to get one-on-one help and start the new year with the support and resources you need. We encourage residents and community members to attend.

With cold temperatures expected, please take a few moments to protect your home and help prevent frozen pipes. Keep water dripping, open cabinets under sinks, and make sure your heat is set to 65° or above. Disconnect any outdoor water hoses and report leaks or frozen pipes to maintenance as soon as possible.
