The Mahaffey Community Ambulance members are deeply saddened by the passing of Barbra Markle, a lifelong and dedicated member who served as both the former President of the Clearfield County Ambulance Association and the Clearfield County Ambulance Training Coordinator, and whose selfless years as the Mahaffey Community Ambulance's President and supervisor will leave a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community she loved.

Post dispatch, Mahaffey EMS acknowledged the call, advising that both units would be responding momentarily. Shortly after, 2952 responded with a crew, followed by 2951. Before units arrived on scene, fire personnel advised nothing was found and the rescue box was placed avalaible.

The fate of Mahaffey's medical protection is at risk! The ambulance service is currently in desperate need of daytime drivers and EMTs! What's it take to be a driver? Simple. A clean, Pennsylvania drivers license and and EVOC class, which we will provide to you at no cost! We will supply you with all you need! If you are looking into becoming an EMT, we can get you the training and supplies needed for that as well! You could be reimburst for your classes.
