Mahnomen Public Schools

Mahnomen Public Schools The district is currently serving approximately 610 K-12 students in our Elementary, Secondary and Alternative Learning Center Schools.

Besides a focus on core subject learning the district provides a variety of educational opportunities in Career & Technical Education, College-in-the-High School, and Arts Education. The Mahnomen District is committed to supporting student growth with after school enrichment programs such as: Targeted Services, Homework Club, and Credit Recovery, in addition to a wide variety of extra-curricular a

thletic and club organizations. We encourage our students, parents, staff and community to take an active role and become engaged in our school. You are welcome to visit and see our school firsthand.

We had so much fun at the end of the school year and not enough minutes in the day to share all the fun with you. But Miss O is getting married, and the 4th-grade class wanted to celebrate with her. We did some wedding theme games like timed outfit making, and we made flower bouquets to throw!

We have reports of a GORILLA spotted roaming the halls of Mahnomen Public School today! 👀🦍

Teachers are attempting to continue lessons... students are trying to stay calm... and we can neither confirm nor deny that the gorilla may be celebrating the last day of school a little too hard. 🤪

If you see suspicious monkey business, excessive laughter, or bananas missing from lunches… please report it immediately. 🍌
