Mahnomen Public Schools The district is currently serving approximately 610 K-12 students in our Elementary, Secondary and Alternative Learning Center Schools.

Besides a focus on core subject learning the district provides a variety of educational opportunities in Career & Technical Education, College-in-the-High School, and Arts Education. The Mahnomen District is committed to supporting student growth with after school enrichment programs such as: Targeted Services, Homework Club, and Credit Recovery, in addition to a wide variety of extra-curricular a

thletic and club organizations. We encourage our students, parents, staff and community to take an active role and become engaged in our school. You are welcome to visit and see our school firsthand.

Dear Mahnomen Public School Community,

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Trey Beauchamp, a freshman at Mahnomen Public School.

Trey entered 9th grade at Mahnomen High School last fall. During football season, he began experiencing health concerns that led to further testing and a diagnosis of metastatic Ewing sarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer. Despite the difficult challenges he faced, Trey never lost his sense of hope, determination, or his wonderful sense of humor. He was known for his positive attitude, warm smile, and the strength he showed throughout his journey.

Trey deeply appreciated the visits, messages, and support he received from classmates, staff, friends, and community members. His courage and resilience touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Trey’s family, friends, classmates, and teachers during this difficult time.
